Hotel Agora is located in a renovated canal house dating back to 1735. The building is situated on the Singel in the centre of Amsterdam next to the flower market and near the city's important squares: the Leidseplein, Rembrandtplein and the Dam.

You can find many of the sights that Amsterdam has to offer, such as the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum, the Amsterdam Hermitage and the Anne Frank House, within walking distance of the hotel.

The hotel is the perfect starting point for a pleasant evening in the well-known Amsterdam night life or for an afternoon of shopping. From simple to elegant shops, flea markets to antique shops, they can all be easily reached from the hotel.

The hotel rooms are comfortably decorated and equipped with telephone, radio and colour television. The hotel has rooms with private bath, but also rooms with shower and bathroom down the hall.

A number of rooms have a lovely view of the "Singel", one of the most beautiful and renowned canals in Amsterdam. There are also a number of rooms with a view of the garden.

The Agora Hotel also has a breakfast room, lobby and lounge; the lounge adjoins the hotel garden, which are in full bloom during the summer.
